All About Me

Hi! My name is Maria and I am a mythology and art enthusiast!  
This blog is centered around Athens, Greece because this is my home and I have explored it repetedly!
I would like for you to see it through my eyes and maybe contribute to your knowledge. 
I aim to give a trained eye a fresh perspective and wonderful experience to a freshcomer.

My focus and passion is revolving around Ancient Greece. 

I love Archaeology and History as well! This is why I pursued a Degree in Art History, History and Classics. 
My hopes is to share with you my interests on

these Humanities themes.
All approached with a sense of humor and a story-telling attitude. As if I were guiding a friend through the alleys of Plaka and we were having fun exchanging knowledge and ideas. 

Learning is a never ending process and a wonderful journey. I will make my best efforts to browse through different themes of art history, arhcaeology, mythology, and history. Definetely consentrating around Ancient Greek Religion and its many sites around Athens and Greece in general. The nature of the site is neither strictly academical nor will give you insubstantial information. 
The topics have a huge depth of information but we will scratch upon the surface with a fresh look.
